Join Impact Hub Salt Lake on Monday morning, July 6, at 8:30am, and meet social entrepreneur Terri Holland.
Terri became a local business owner, inadvertent entrepreneur, and feminist-by-necessity, when she divorced and subsequently began her first business in 1993. Finding she had a natural understanding of business, she became a self-taught business starter, website developer, marketer, accountant, HR manager and salesperson. She has owned and launched 14 companies in Utah across technology, media and health care sectors.
Terri is currently the owner of Wasatch CNA Centers, which operates three businesses—Cole Holland College, EMT Utah and Utah CNA Training Centers. In addition to her business ventures, Terri volunteers extensively with community, health and arts nonprofits. While serving as President of the Board of P3 Utah, Terri championed the passage of Benefit Corporation legislation in Utah. Wasatch CNA was the first Benefit Corporation registered in Utah.
Terri is also an advocate for equality, and social and economic justice. She is a writer and published author, and is currently at work on her new book “How to Be Happy Capping Your Income.” She is the proud mother of two remarkable adult children, both gainfully employed. She loves her time with family best of all, and is expecting her first grandchild in December.
